AutoExpress.co.uk had an article today about the 7 seater SUV that Volkswagen will be selling in the US. While there is no guarantee that it will come to the UK "the opinion of people in the know it’s unlikely to be offered initially but there’s certainly a never-say-never attitude."
The 7 seater debuted as the CrossBlue, and it's part of VW/Audi's plan to sell 1 million vehicles in the USA by 2018.
Dr Winterkorn said: “Engineering is already underway on this seven-seat passenger vehicle for America. It will arrive in 2016 with a dynamic design and plenty of space for American families.”
Most interesting is that it may come with a 4 cylinder diesel engine, or even the plug-in hybrid system that is due to arrive in the Golf this year.
